Open, hidden or latent conflicts reduce the productivity, causing damage to motivation, climate and image.Due to this, conflicts should be solved, before they get dangerous for the success of the enterprise.
In places where people deal with one another, different interests, characters, emotions and moods always meet. It is simply naive to think that this never causes any tension. Normally, the small interpersonal frictional surfaces do not develop the strength to spark a destructive fire: Conventions, formalities, education, consideration, understanding, and adjusting intervention by responsible executives as well as temporal and spatial distance help to prevent serious damages.

In such a case an external mediation intervenes and provides a primary defusion of the conflict. The second step of the mediation creates a Win-Win situation for both conflict parties. In the end, it provides a long-term and positive solution of the problems that led to the conflict. The causes of the conflict are picked out as a central theme. Then they are discussed and both parties work together to develop an obliging solution strategy.
Compared to all other options, mediation is the cheapest solution to decrease tensions between people and teams within an enterprise.
